Nehemiah R. Knight (born December 31, 1780 in Cranston, Rhode Island; died April 18, 1854 in Providence, Rhode Island) succeeded William Jones as the ninth Governor of Rhode Island, serving between May 7, 1817 and May 2, 1821, including the whole of 1820.
