Why doesn't your DVD burner recognize any media?

The DVD may not have loaded correctly. Try reloading the DVD or a different DVD.

The DVD burner may be broken or dirty.

The DVD itself may be dirty or scratched or you may not have the correct kind of DVD.

The DVD software on your computer may have become corrupted or may need to be updated.

If it is an external DVD burner, make sure all the connections are connected correctly and are not loose.
