How many pit bull attacks have there been in the past year?

The media has had a very good impact in this topic. Most dogs concidered pitbulls to the media, are not really a true pitbull. Mostly they are mixed dogs looking like pitbulls. A real pitbull will not attack humans but only to guard the home or the owner.
