Does the US have a legislative body?

The United States of America does indeed have a legislative body, known as Congress. It is composed of the Upper House (Senate) and Lower House (House of Representatives); the former is more closely associated with "trustee" representation and the latter is more closely associated with "delegate" representation, due to the nature of terms and roles.
