Where did leiff erikson sail?

Leif Erikson is believed to have sailed from Greenland to the northeastern coast of North America around the year 1000 AD. He is often credited with reaching a place he named Vinland, which is thought to correspond to parts of present-day Newfoundland, Canada. This voyage makes him one of the first known European explorers to set foot on the continent, predating Columbus by nearly 500 years.
