Impressionism: Sunrise by Monet -------------------------------------------------- I agree that this is a highly subjective question, but here is my two cents: Starry Night and The Mona Lisa, simply because they are so instantly recognized and a part of pop culture. If you ask the random stranger off the street to name a famous painting, odds are that those would be the top picks. In fact, Starry Night Van Gogh and Mona Lisa Da Vinci have over one and a half million hits combined.
