If you are having unprotected sex with your husband in order to conceive then there is always a chance he can contract the virus.

Discuss this with your OB/GYN and they can recommend the best course of treatment. They may prescribe anti-viral medications to suppress the virus but it can still be spread. If you absolutely want to protect him then you may want to have his sperm inserted with your OB/GYN.
