Who founded St Jude's?

St. Jude Children's Research Hospital was founded by late actor and entertainer, Danny Thomas. The hospital first opened its doors to patients in 1962. It is located in downtown Memphis, Tennessee and has treated patients from all 50 states and several foreign countries.
