Was Mr Bennet a good father?

Mr. Bennet from "Pride and Prejudice" by Jane Austen is often seen as neglectful and irresponsible as a father. He did not actively guide or provide for his daughters' future, especially in terms of financial security. Although he showed a sense of humor and wit, his lack of involvement in his daughters' lives had negative consequences.
