How to determine the sex of weed seeds?

I'm not completely sure which one is which, but white seeds (or just lightly colored ones) are one gender and the black (or darker ones) are another gender. Like I said, not positive, but most likely the majority of the seeds you find in your pot will be male because the females have already been picked out by somebody.
