Exothermic- They absorb heat energy from their surroundings, meaning they don't have to eat as much as exothermic animals (mammals & birds). The heat allows their enzymes to function as they should and so that their bodily systems can be carried out (digestion, respiration etc)

Skin- They can 'breathe' through their skin, which means they can respire underwater. It also produces a mucus which helps retain moisture on the skin surface and so that chemicals and less likely to get onto the skin and burn it.

Mouth- Wide so that they can consume any prey that they can overpower and fit in their mouth.

The skin in the mouth of some amphibians works the same way as their skin and allows them to respire (You can see this when they allow air flow - it looks like they're breathing normally but in their throat)
Long powerful legs that allow it to jump and swim very well.

Streamlined body shaped for swimming.

Eyes that bulge out for increased angles of vision and are able to see underwater.
