What is steel good for?

Steel is good for projects that require a high strength and durability. Steel isn't the lightest material around so it isn't great for aircraft missles, race cars and motorcycles. It is however much less expensive than aluminum , titanium and other metals with high strength to weight ratiOS. Steel also is not good for projects that require high electrical or heat conductivity or that require a high resistance to corrision.
