Unfortunately, or maybe fortunately for some, depending on genetics. Jelly fat cannot be lost directly. This means, that ab exercises or any other exercise related to the stomach is utterly pointless. The only way to lose Jelly fat is to exercise in general. By doing cardio (aerobic) and strength training (weight lifting) you 'so long as you eat enough calories to burn fat (between 1,500-1,800 is suggested)' you can begin to lose weight 'in general'. It is generally up to genetics where fat is lost first. For some it is in the face, for others it is in the posterior, but evenly it'll trickle its way down to the primordial last resource of endurance, your Jelly! As a side note "And this is just for sake of saying so", let's say you typically consume 2,000 calories a day. Most people of relatively normal weight fluctuate above or below 2,000 as high as 2,600 or as low as 1,600, no matter. But for the sake of this example, let's say you consume 2,000 daily. Now, if you wanted to lose weight you have two options. 1) eat 500 calories less a day a total of 1,500 calories or 2) continue to eat 2,000 calories a day, but exercise (cardio or strength training) to burn 500 calories daily. At the end, you've consumed about 500 calories a day, which by the week of the week should equate to 3,500 calories, which will result in the lose of one pound! Oh, by the way, if exercising and dieting is not enjoyable even remotely I suggest you not even start! Exercise and healthy eating come naturally our body. Often it is your own emotional baggage that keeps us unhealty and therefore, unhappy. One pound a week is reasonable. It gives you a chance to still eat the things you enjoy and the confidence of knowing that by the end of the week you lose a pound close to your goal of a flat stomach.
