How long does xanax take to enter your urine?

A significant amount of Xanax (alprazolam) will be in your urine very quickly as you take it, just shortly after it's absorbed. I would guess that if its been less than 10 minutes since you took it, there's no way you would have enough in your urine to fail a drug test. My best guess would be 1-2 hours after taking the xanax depending on dosage, but I wouldn't try it. Alprazolam can stay in your system a while. If you take it once, I would probably expect a about a week to be clean, depending on dose and test cut off level.
