10 kW at 220v will use 45.45 Amps. I'd recommend a 60A circuit, with a 60A breaker, but the heater or electric furnace should have "maximum fuse amps" rated on its nameplate. Above all, neverconnect wiring to a breaker that is rated higher than the maximum current capacity of the wire. In the case of 60A, use #6 AWG wire.
