How can you fix a broken action replay max for Nintendo ds?

If you've seen the one video on you tube about breaking it in half, DON'T DO IT. That guy in the video said that there is only a 40% chance that it will actually work for you. Plus my friend was stupid and did it. Do you know what happened? It broke. It was gone. For GOOD. Here's how: hold A AND B while ds is OFF. While still holding these buttons also hold down START AND SELECT then turn your ds ON (with action replay in ds). Hope this helps!- B GIRL
