What type of lighting do reptiles need?

Depending on the size of the repltile; different sized lights are needed. But genereally, reptiles need U.V lighting. You can only get these in reptile stores and each reptile needs a different sized.For example, I have a Gabboon turtle and shes around 14cm and she needs a just under a medium sized U.V lighting.
