How do you input cheats for visualboyadvance?

to input GameShark cheats you go to the gmaeshark website, copy a code then go to visual boy cheats-cheatlist-gameshark- then under code paste the code- write a descipion of what the code does (optional)-then your cheats should work but dont forget to press cheat-save cheatlist then the next time you play you will probably have to load the list
