Is time a resource in project management?

Absolutely! You must determine that time is an essential part of any process in project management. Without time being first considered and checked daily, the project WILL ultimately suffer or even worse, you can fail and the team, if a team effort project, can fail. One issue, one player or one resource not being available on-time can be catastrophic to your project and it's demand. When you realize that time can be your worse enemy or your best friend, you will understand that time management is vital to the process and it's ultimate success or failure. Be sure to keep a clear and focused perspective of the project, the counterparts and time needed to accomplish from start to finish. Always prepare for mistakes as they often happen and can become overwhelming when your under a deadline.
