How do women urinate while standing up?

Girls / women are anatomically different from boys/men. Boys/men have penises. The penis makes it much easier to urinate while standing up and direct the stream of urine to one localized spot.. Because in males the tube that carries urine is mostly outside the main body, going through the penis, there is little chance of urine running down the insides of the male's thighs, or wetting their feet/shoes. On the other hand, the tube in women that carries urine is all inside the body. That means the stream of urine can be wider instead of in a mostly straight stream. For girls and women who try to stand up to pee, urine can spray or trickle down the insides of the shoes. She would have to spread her feet apart very widely to avoid hitting her shoes/feet. Because a wide stance would be very uncomfortable and make a person feel off balance, it's difficult to straddle a toilet too. The same results would occur in men if the penis was permanently pointing downward (which penises don't do).

So most girls / women won't even try to urinate standing up. We're used to sitting on a toilet, so even if we had to go outside, most women would squat with their knees bent, so they are almost sitting.
