Can conures talk

Birds can't swim in the way that mammals can. They don't have the means to move purposefully and directionally through the water. If dropped in the water, they will flap their wings wildly in an attempt to either fly out of the water, or move them themselves to solid ground. However, if they're in deep water and unable to reach ground, they rapidly tire and drown. Sadly, it's all too common that birds find themselves in an open aquarium or toilet and drown.

Most birds still love water. Conures need to be bathed regularly, either by providing a wide dish with water 1-2" deep, or by being sprayed with a spray bottle. Some also enjoy being bathed under a lightly running faucet in the sink, or even showering with their owners.
