Is ice the best thing for a dog bite?

It depends really, if the dog bite punctured deep into the skin, you're going to want to go to the nearest Emergency Room, but if the bite just slightly punctures, you should probably clean the wound, put a substance like Neosporin on the cut to help prevent infection, and then wrap it up if you can, or just put a bandaid on it if it's a small bite. Ice isn't very useful unless there is swelling, but if there is pain, you can take something like Tylenol, Motrin, ibuprofen, or Aleve, to relief it.
