Is it legal to sell a used mattress in Illinois?

NO, It is not, I contacted 3 furniture stores looking for a discarded mattress and they all tried to sell me one. I asked how they could do this when it was illegal. THey told me they wrote it up as a frame sell. I contacted Lisa Madigans office and reported it . She sent me out a a form to fill out to report all 3 businesses. So yes, it is illegal.
