Where is Jasper Cullen originally from?

Jasper is from Texas. Major Jasper Whitlock was in the confederate army until three vampires, Maria, Nettie and Lucy turned him as a soldier for their newborn army. Eventually, Jasper's empathic abilities made him sad killing so many people so he left and roamed with his non fighter friends Peter and Charlotte until he found Alice in a diner in Philadelphia. They found the Cullens together. The whole story is in eclipse.
