Can a corn snake lay eggs if they are not fertilized?

it is quite rare but some animals (mostly reptiles and amphibians) can conceive without the male, even scientists don't know why it happens. some of the animals are snakes lizards an reptiles. no known mammal has done this, no known bird has done either, however there has been cases of natural sex change in birds and mammals.
