How does God want us to treat animals?

You need to respect your animal. If your animal is hungry feed it its properly designated food. If your animal is injured take it to the local veterinarian. If your animal is dirty, consult a veterinarian in proper bathing procedures. Those animals that do not like water may need to have cleansing wipes or other precautions for cleansing. And most of all love your animal like God loves everyone on Earth.
