Why won't daytime running lights shut off in my 2007 Toyota Camry when the engine is off?

Some car will keep headlights for some time after the engine was stopped. I guess it was done so you can find the door to your house.

If the lights do not go off at all, it means that the daytime running relay is not working and most likely has to be replaced.
