Parasaurolophus lived along the western shore of the Western Interior Seaway. The area was a floodplain with rivers and swamps, and had distinct wet and dry seasons. Conifers were the primary trees, but other plants like ferns, ginkgoes, cycads, and flowering plants also lived there.
