Where in a garden would you find a slug?

Near moisture, on trees, and under lightweight humanmade and natural objects are where a slug would be found in a garden.

Specifically, slugs have to guard against drying out. They like soil that is moistened by fountain/pool sprays, irrigation, and rainfall. They also may be found under leaves, planters, rocks, and tree bark.
