Where is the coolant temperature sensor located on a 2000 Mercury Cougar V6?

below the air intake..

It is below the throttle body/air intake. You don't have to remove anything to get to it. I made the mistake of looking for it before I checked online to find it. I pulled the intake manifold and everything! Don't do that! All you need is a 19mm open ended wrench.
