How do you drain a fuel tank on a 1997 Ford Escort LX?

Fuel tanks usually don't have a drain, so either run the car out of gas, remove a fuel line and direct it to a bucket with the ignition switch on, or remove the gas tank and take the sending unit out and pour the gas out of that. Those are the three possibilities I can think of, hopefully they work for you. Hayden
