KVA is the abbreviation for kilo-volt-amp, or kilo-watt (volts x amps = watts)

Your KVA is you amps used multiplied by 240 ( number of volts in the electrical service for your house)

example: if your home draws 500 amps you are consuming you would be drawing 120,000 VA or 120 KVA. That help?
