The original World Trade Center complex in New York City consisted of two main towers, the North Tower (WTC 1) and the South Tower (WTC 2). The North Tower had 110 stories, while the South Tower also had 110 stories. Both towers were among the tallest buildings in the world before the September 11 attacks in 2001. Today, the site features the One World Trade Center, which has 104 stories.
