The members of ABBA were born in Sweden. Agnetha Fältskog was born in Jönköping, Björn Ulvaeus in Gothenburg, Benny Andersson in Stockholm, and Anni-Frid Lyngstad in Narvik, Norway, although she later moved to Sweden and became a Swedish citizen. The group formed in Stockholm in 1972 and went on to achieve international fame.
