What is the easiest way to catch shiny Pokemon in firered?

There is no easy way to catch shiny Pokemon, just that the chances are not on your side.

There is 1/8192 chance of catching or obtaining a shiny Pokemon in the wild. Also, if you want to catch a shiny legendary, then you MUST:

1. Have a master ball incase you kill the Pokemon
2. save the game before you challenge the Pokemon so you don't have to keep heading back there.

I caught a shiny Rayquaza in about half an hour which i could'NT believe. It took me half an hour to get a shiny Rayquaza, but i know of situations where it took somebody 6000 soft resets. so, if you really want a shiny, stay committed and don't give up

Incase you don't know what a soft reset is, it where you reset the game without turning off the GBA itself. To do this, hold A, B, Start and Select all at the same time.

I'm trying to get a shiny Charmander at the moment and I've been trying for a day and still haven't got one.

Also, if the ID number set by the CPU for that day matches your ID number, then you WILL come across a shiny Pokemon in that day, but not lots. Although this is true, the odds are 1/100,000 so even slimmer than before.
