To be honest, there really isn't an accurate answer for your question. Everyone's body is different. However, your period may be delayed for a month and you may also experience spotting or breakthrough bleeding before you start your period. It may take 1 month for your body to readjust. Start a new pack of pills on the day that you would normally start, and take your pills everyday at the same time. There are other methods of Birth Control such as an IUD or Mirena which are convenient because you do not have to remember to take a pill everyday at the same time. These methods of birth control are 99.9% effective just like the pill if used correctly.
