How many colonists died in the starvation time in 1609-1610?

During the Starving Time of 1609-1610 in Jamestown, it is estimated that around 600 colonists died due to starvation and related hardships. The harsh winter, combined with a lack of food and supplies, led to extreme conditions. By the spring of 1610, only about 60 colonists survived. This period was one of the most difficult in the early history of the American colonies.
