What will happen if you take more than prescribed of adderall XR?

depending on how much they are perscribed, how accostomed to the drug they are, and how much was taken, if it is less than 120 mg and they are used to the effects of amphetamenes ur child will just spend the next 12 howers tweeking, and the next day recovering from the dopamene being relesed, if more dont pass go, go straight to emergancy room .... that said if its a high dose but not phisicly harmfull its a good idea to moniter him/her and make sure he/she dosent start exibiting profuse sweating or convoltions if the dose was more than 100 mg. evryones body reacts diffrently but genraly the lethal dose of adderal xr is around 145-180 mg for the avrege person depending on weight and aclaminity to the drug. in my younger days i was prescibed concerta wich is the same drug diffrent company and while im not proud of it i did abuse it quite a bit, the thing i would watch is, now that your child knows what this medication can do, moniter the meds closely to make sure it dose not start ( getting droped down the drain) or dissapering abnormaly fast because it can be highly highly addictive when used in doses greater than prescribed...... as one parent to another i hope this helps and i hope your kid is ok
