Is there a reset button for the check engine light on a 1986 BMW 325?

Unfortunately a 1986 BMW 325 does not have a service light reset button. To reset the light a user can ground pin 7 in the diagnostic connector. Doing so automatically sends a signal to the cars ECU to reset all error codes and service lights.
