How does the estern coral snake defend its self?

1) camoflauge. Snakes are soft supple easy animals for prey for BIRDS. They can stay extremely still, so then they hide. This is also a snake attacking strategy 2) in the arms of a bigger predetor, any snake will probably attempt to get out of the trap. 3) as a last resort, a corn snake will try to constrict it's attacker. Not going to work if it wants to KILL the attacker, but will probably make it let go. if this doesn't help, re ask the question and put ntm at the end. NTM stands for not twilight maniac.
