Does smoking weed affect your new toungue piercing?

You should not smoke after a tongue piercing, oral piercings need oxygen to heal quickly and smoke is not the way to get oxygen to the body. To speed this piercing chew on ice chips all day long to control swelling, gargle with 50/50 Water/Listerine after everything that goes inth your body like food and drinks (except water), and patience is much needed for healing a oral piercing without problems. I DO NOT recommend smoking after oral piercing but IF YOU HAVE TO SMOKE, gargle before and after each smoke.
