What is a jukebox musical?

A jukebox musical is a show which is based on the songs of an artist. For instance, We Will Rock You is based on the music of Queen, Mamma Mia on the music of ABBA, Viva Forever on the music of the Spice Girls and American Idiot on the music of Green Day. The story of the show is made to fit around the songs.
