Who is Platinum or diamond hard?

Platinum and diamond are both known for their exceptional hardness, but they differ in composition and use. Diamond is the hardest natural material on Earth, rated a 10 on the Mohs scale of mineral hardness, primarily due to its crystal structure. Platinum, while very durable and resistant to corrosion, is not as hard as diamond, typically rated around 4-5 on the Mohs scale. Thus, while both are valuable, diamond is the harder of the two.
