What is a mini business plan?

Often referred to as an "enhanced executive summary", the mini business plan consists of one to 10 pages of planning information. Frequently, the mini-plan discusses the overall business concept, financing needs, marketing and sales strategies and almost always includes financial statements. This is a great way to introduce your company to prospective investors, lenders or potential business partners. If the mini-plan generates interest, you can then present the more detailed plan. Keep in mind that mini-plans should never be a substitute for a full-length plan, especially when seeking financing.
