To replace the ball joints on a 1994 E-150 van, first, raise the front of the vehicle and secure it on jack stands. Remove the wheel, then disconnect the brake caliper and rotor, followed by the tie rod end and the lower control arm or upper control arm, depending on which ball joint you are replacing. Use a ball joint separator tool to remove the old ball joint and install the new one, ensuring it's properly seated. Reassemble the components in reverse order, and be sure to torque all fasteners to the manufacturer's specifications.
