A check must be written as payable to who?

You need to fill the check with a good pen that does not smudge or blot in paper. The following items need to be filled:

1. Pay To: The person to whom you want to make the payment. Write the full name of that person
2. Date: The Date from which your check should be a valid monetary instrument
3. Amount in Words: enter the amount you want to pay in Words. Ex: Rupees five thousand only.
4. Amount in Numbers: enter the amount you want to pay in numbers. Ex: 5000/-
5. Signature: Sign in the bottom right corner of the check without fail.
