How do you clean your holiday inflatable characters?

There are lots of folks who approach this like washing their car, except they use a very light, soft cloth. Use a dilute mix of soap with some 409, Simple Green, Big Orange, or the like, and then wipe them down while they are inflated. Finally, hose them gently off. Make sure you approach the characters in "panels" or "pieces" and wipe all of the piece or panel down before moving on to another piece or panel. That is the best way to avoid any "missed spots" that will detract from your work. Packing them away with a bit of body or baby powder will help keep them from sticking together.
