How can you tell if a kitten will be long-haired?

You can usually tell if a kitten will be long-haired by looking at its parents. If one or both parents have long hair, there is a good chance the kitten will also have long hair. Additionally, long-haired kittens often have fluffy fur and a thicker coat compared to short-haired kittens.
