What lives in arid places?

Rodents like mice and gerbils, camels, snakes, lizards, birds, foxes

There's actually quite a few, most of them are nocturnal(they sleep during the day), and get the water they need from the dew that collects during the night. Desert nights are extremely cold, so there's a lot of moisture for the animals and plants. There are tall shrubs, grassy areas, sandy areas and rocky areas.
