opposable thumbs. Some bears have a special bone found in their
wrists. Its their sixth toe and it is an opposable thumb. It is
used for grasping bamboo. They use this bone in the same way humans
use their thumbs, mainly for grasping food. Most species do not
have opposable thumbs.
